The name High Society might evoke impressions of another classic Melbourne cafe, but the experience here in leafy Armadale is a more relaxed one and all the better for it. You’ll still find some photo-worthy food backed up with great service and a pleasant ambience.
Asian dessert alert! This time it’s the Soufflé Pancakes brought to you by Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes. These spongy treats are much more eggy and thick than your normal breed. And like the name, they are fluffy, fluffy.
One thing I’ve struggled to understand in London – everyone seems to love The Breakfast Club? I’ve given it a few goes, in multiple locations and it’s never been an above average on any aspect for me. I popped in for a quick bite before a day filled with more home-themed adventures. Food at The Store was inspired yet classic, and service prompt and tidy. The coffee was a tad too bitter on this visit but has been better on previous occasions. It’s a lovely sunny, outdoorsy spot and a varied and reliable cafe menu put it on a pedestal above other venues.
A foodie friend had actually recommended to check out Bing Boy as someone new to Australia. It’s a pretty cool concept with basically made-on-demand wraps with asian flavours. Bing Boy is a chain franchise with a few stores all over the malls, and it makes for […]
The egg wraps from Bing Boys are a real treat and bring a small essence of surprise and difference to standard food court fare. I came in at a slightly off peak afternoon hour and had an excellently prepared Bing Boy that didn’t come with […]
