Pidapido, Windsor

The guys and I popped into the newish Windsor store of Pidapido for a post-dinner gelato. The stuff is definitely up there with the best of them, though I still have a slight preference of Gelato Messina, due to its funkier flavours and deeper richness in taste. Pidapido still delivers in terms of friendly staff, good serving sizes and plenty of flavour options.

The product is creamy and light (the guy who started it knows his stuff), with flavours being balanced and never overbearing. I had a mix of a few options and they were all well and good and definitely one I’d recommend around the area for a lighter end to an evening.

The queue was entirely manageable on the Sunday evening that we popped in. This in itself is a lot better than the pushing and shoving that can happen (mainly from me) at the Messina store or the seemingly endless queue of the Pidapido Carlton store. I had two flavours in the cup, I believe this was around the $6 or $7 mark. Nice and efficient gelato packing and was happy with the clean flavours. Cheers.
